Little Rock Recycles Day: quarterly, anything with a power cord
The City of Little Rock, the Little Rock Zoo and Keep Little Rock Beautiful run a quarterly drop-off at the Zoo's east parking lot (Zoo Drive at South Monroe Street), 9 am to noon. The city lists e-waste as "anything with a power cord, except refrigerators and window air conditioners". Remaining 2026 dates are Saturday 26 September and Saturday 14 November; confirm on littlerock.gov the week before, as the dates come from the city's March announcement.
What the city will and will not collect
Little Rock's bulky-item pickup (first four each year free, then $25 for two cubic yards, booked through 311) takes furniture, mattresses and large appliances with the refrigerant removed, but its own list of restricted items names "electronic waste (televisions, computer equipment, stereo equipment, etc.)". The city's special-items page sends residents to the Green Station first and, for anything it cannot take, to recycle@littlerock.gov or (501) 371-4646. Entergy Arkansas will collect and recycle an old working refrigerator or freezer (833-748-7329).

What Arkansas law says
Arkansas has no consumer e-waste recycling law and no manufacturer take-back scheme. The Arkansas Computer and Electronic Solid Waste Management Act (Act 1410 of 2001, A.C.A. 25-34-101 and following) covers surplus computers from state agencies and funds recycling grants to solid waste districts; its section 25-34-111 let regulators ban computers and electronics from landfills from 1 January 2010, and the Division of Environmental Quality's own page says that ban "has not been put into place yet". Businesses may fall under hazardous or universal waste rules, which is why the Green Station refuses commercial loads and routes them to eSCO.
