Other Information: The Wireless Foundation, with help from organizations and individuals across the country, is collecting no longer used wireless phones to help fight domestic violence. These phones are often a lifeline in an emergency, providing victims with instant access to help. Phones collected through this national donation program will be used to increase the number of wireless phones available to victims in need, while generating additional resources to support the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the CALL to PROTECT program. Any and all hand-carried wireless phones are accepted. The newer phones in good condition will be recycled and distributed to victims. Older phones or phones in need of serious repair will be sold, with proceeds used to support domestic violence programs.
